Tasso 9
WHERE THE MAREMMA MEETS THE SOUL
An ancient residence, a family history, a refuge suspended between the hills and the sea.
Here I am!
It’s Nicoletta.
Born and raised in Milan for many years.
After seven years on a secluded farm in the heart of Maremma, I felt the desire to combine the beauty of this land with greater comfort and conviviality. Tasso 9 was born from the desire to welcome guests and friends in a comfortable yet authentic setting, in the medieval village of Boccheggiano in Montieri (Grosseto).
Welcome to Tasso 9
This isn’t just a hotel, but a living home. Built in 1901, it has been shaped and lived in by the same family for generations: from great-grandparents to grandchildren, every corner bears the imprint of those who loved it. Here, family craftsmanship is evident in unique wall decorations, vintage photographs, and architectural details born from the talent of those who, in turn, have left their mark of their mastery.
Our philosophy: feel at home
Crossing our threshold means entering a dimension of family warmth. You won’t be “customers,” but guests of dear friends, immersed in an atmosphere where hospitality is spontaneous and sincere.
Our staff is very special.
At Tasso 9, I’m not alone. A team of true relaxation professionals will welcome you:

Doc
a dog with a heart of gold, sometimes so discreet that he seems invisible;

LaGigia e Graffio
the two brothers of the house, pure feline elegance;

LaPina
a beautiful miniature black panther.
Note: If you’re looking for frenetic efficiency, you’ve come to the wrong place. Here, your four-legged hosts will teach you the art of doing nothing.
The Village
A view that stretches toward infinity
Despite the tranquility of the medieval village of Boccheggiano, we are strategically located: in just 30 minutes, you can dive into the blue Tyrrhenian Sea, while in about 40 minutes, you can reach the art treasures of Siena and Grosseto.
Our garden is a natural balcony overlooking the true Tuscany. With a 180-degree view, your gaze sweeps over the Metalliferous Hills, caressing the villages of Chiusdino and Ciciano, all the way to the skyline of Siena. On clear days, the horizon stretches even further, revealing the majesty of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines.
My house
Rooms
Between the Metalliferous Hills and the Aegean sea
If Maremma is my body, Greece is my heart. This dual spirit is reflected in our three rooms, each dedicated to an island that has captivated me:
Levitha
for those seeking peace and poetic isolation.
Milos
with vibrant colors and volcanic energy.
Anafi
for those who love simplicity and pure light.

Hospitality
One of the most loved moments by my guests during their stay at the Ceppeti farm is to wake up and have a magnificent breakfast, carefully prepared by me, before leaving for a trip, or enjoy a snack on their return. You can do it by looking at the Tuscan panorama that shows itself in front of the house surrounded by the coolness of the forest, or by watching the fireplace crackle on cold winter days.
What my guests say
The owner of the house is fantastic, the place is a paradise and the farmhouse is as welcoming as your own home.
